The year of the Crypto Coins!

Here at Crypto coin buddy we are building up a good spread in cryptocurrency coins for 2018, for as little as a few hundred to a thousand dollars invested, you could potentially get 1000% returns on your investment.

This is not a financial investment website, we follow many smart educated people and also do our own research, so we can make very informed decision on what new crypto coin technology to invest in, only risk the money you can afford to lose, it’s the wild wild west in the cryptocurrency world at the moment, there are also massive profits to be made in 2018, with possibly very little investment, so read on.

My name is David O’Connor and welcome to CryptoCoinBuddy.com

The end of 2017 in cryptocurrency was just crazy! I was thinking I should hurry up and get involved in cryptocurrency after seeing these massive returns on very small investments, gains of more than 3000%, I really wish I researched it much sooner! Better late then never right.

My aim here on this website is to help bring you up to speed as quickly as I can, so then you can decide if investing small amounts of money into cryptocurrencies is a smart idea.

I think a good place to start is with a video, this is one of the guys we follow here at Crypto Coin Buddy, he has just put together a great review of cryptocurrencies for 2017, it’s worth a watch if you have time, just to get an idea of some of the profits we were able to make in 2017, well many of us are still holding many crypto stocks and waiting for the price to go up even more in 2018.

Skip forward in the video below to around the 5 minute mark if you want to bypass the fluff.

The easy way to think of cryptocurrency, it’s just like back in the early nineties of the internet, I’m now putting very small or large educated buy’s, on the next Facebook and google’s of cryptocurrency for 2018, crypto is going to change the world there’s no doubt, Pandora’s box is now open and just like Google and Facebook has changed the world, cryptocurrency will too, it’s just hard to understand exactly what cryptocurrency is behind the scenes, not that it matters, most people do not care exactly how things work, as long it works right.

Another way to put it, cryptocurrency is a new world wide currency system and technology (Blockchain “cryptography”) that is as free and unregulated to use, just as the internet itself is! The new coins coming onto the market are Altcoins, many are Bitcoin 2.0 and 3.0 versions and are built on top of this new technology that has open a whole new way to do many things much more efficiently.

Take powerledger.io (powr) for just one example here, that’s also an Australian crypto coin! You could have bought some (powr) coins in November last year for 5 cents! and now what are they worth? Well take a look for yourself here, or see the screenshot below.

Power Ledger Chart (powr)

You should also take a look at the Power Leger white papers on the Power Ledger website to better understand what they are trying to accomplish with this new technology.

A white paper is an authoritative report or guide that informs readers concisely about a complex issue and presents the issuing body’s philosophy on the matter. It is meant to help readers understand an issue, solve a problem, or make a decision. Read more

There will be thousands more new cryptocurrency ideas in 2018 for this new technology coming into the marketplace, when they first launch, this is called an ICO (Initial Coin Offering).

An initial coin offering (ICO) is a means of crowdfunding centered around cryptocurrency, which can be a source of capital for startup companies. In an ICO, some quantity of the crowdfunded cryptocurrency is preallocated to investors in the form of “tokens,” in exchange for legal tender or other cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin or Ethereum. These tokens become functional units of currency if or when the ICO’s funding goal is met and the project launches. Read more

Now it’s not huge money I’m investing here in crypto’s, one hundred dollars on one coin, fifty dollars on another, some of my new coins Ive bought recently are up and coming crypto ventures and trading at $0.17 cents. This allows me to buy quite a few of their crypto coins with very little money, in the hope they become very popular and much more expensive down the road. (This can happen very quickly in crypto!) The earlier you get in and buy a crypto coins, the cheaper it is the majority of the time, if or when it becomes very popular, this is when it can become a very expensive asset, just like Bitcoin is these days.

Take Cardano (ADA) in the picture below for example, this coin was sitting at $0.10, yes 10 cents! on the 11th of December 2017, the screenshot below was taken on the 4th of January 2018. That’s a 10X return in 25 days! Yes I do have a thousand Cardano coins, I would like to have more still! The problem is now I would have to buy in at a much higher price, perhaps it is still a good buy at this $1 price? Let’s see in a few weeks or months shall we.

Cardano Chart

You can take look at this chart yourself at www.coinmarketcap.com/currencies/cardano/

Or here on www.walletinvestor.com/currency/cardano/interval/7d

The Link above will open in a new browser tab, all links to external sources will open this way on this website.

Another interesting coin was Ripple (XRP) Take a look at it’s chart here www.walletinvestor.com/currency/ripple/interval/1m

I only just got in on Ripple (XRP) a few weeks ago for $1 AUD each, it’s now already trading at $3.00 USD at the time of writing on coinmarketcap.com. Ripple (XRP) is an interesting coin, they are going after the banking sector and have already signup over 100 banking and financial institution to use their currency system, Ripple’s coin has been sitting at $0.21 cents USD all year, even I should have bought in earlier!

coinmarketcap.com lists the average price across all the cryptocurrency exchanges, you can see each price on each exchange by changing to the “markets tab” seen in the picture above. www.coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ripple/#markets

Ripple (XRP) is up 144 percent on the week, and more than 1,000 percent month over month. The cryptocurrency was trading at $0.26 just over 30 days ago. With the change, XRP is also bringing a shake-up to the leaderboard of the most valuable cryptocurrencies. Read more…

How to Invest In Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Video (Tutorial)

Bookmark cryptocoinbuddy.com, the video is 40 minutes long, you might want to come back and watch later if you don’t have the time right now.

I don’t plan to sell any of these these cypto tech coins off soon, I will be sitting on them for the next few years to see just how far they will go! I might sell a few % of the coins off down the road to get all of my initial investment money back, so I can then buy back into the next up and coming crypto coins and the cycle continues, rinse and repeat, until you have a very nice looking portfolio.

coinmarketcap

The picture above is a screenshot of the website coinmarketcap.com, it has at the time of writing 1385 cryptocurrencies listed, it’s just one great website to start your research with, when you click on the name of the cryptocurrency your interested in, coinmarketcap.com will then show you many other stats about that crypto, including links to their website so you can then read about what there trying to achieve with the new technology. I will build a page soon with many more recommended crypto resources.

If you are very new to cryptocurrencies, I recommend you read the trusted articles on the Australian government website money smart below, this will start to give you a good understanding about what is cryptocurrency and the risks involved. Just remember tho, you don’t need a massive investment to make some potentially very good returns on investment in cryptocurrency.

Things you should get setup as quickly as possible so you have access to buy cryptocurrencies, which will then allow you to buy into other old or brand new cryptocurrencies coming into the cryptocurrency marketplace

Australians signup on coinspot.com.au, this will allow you to send Australian dollars to coin spot using Bpay etc, which will then allow you to buy many different types of cryptocurrencies there, if the coin is not listed on coin spot, they do allow you to send any of your coins to another exchange, you will mostly be buying and sending a little piece of a Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH) to buy other coins with. It can take weeks to get verified, so get moving and signup at coinspot.com.au.

Everyone should join coinbase.com, it’s a little more limited for Australians right now, this may change soon, signing up here will keep your options open and allow you to buy and move around your cryptocurrency. Some cryptocurrencies can only be bought on some exchanges, exclusive coin listings I guess, these exchanges only except cryptocurrency to buy other cryptocurrency on the exchange, it’s usually bought/paired with Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) you’ll buy other coins with, not in fiat $ currency.

You will be buying Ethereum (ETH) coin and or Bitcoin (Not a whole one LOL) just a little piece of it (See pic below 0.04551 Ethereum (ETH) = $50.46 AUD), I use mostly Ethereum (ETH) crypto now to buy other coins with, as it’s much cheaper to send across to these exchanges, remember to only buy as much as you can afford to risk and lose, when buying and sending Ethereum to an exchange, to then buy the cryptocurrency coin of your choice.

Here is a picture of me sending Ethereum (ETH) from coinbase to the  binance exchange, which allows me then to exchange Ethereum (ETH) for other cryptocurrencies they offer there. coinbase is one of the websites I use to buy Bitcoin and Ethereum using a VISA credit card to then send to exchanges to buy other crypto coins I’ve researched and decided to buy into.

coinbase Ethereum Wallet check sms

Fiat currency or normal cash? hehe (VISA) – To Ethereum (ETH) bought on Coinbase picture above – Ethereum (ETH) sent to the binance exchange to trade, see my binance account Ethereum address above.

I then bought 671 EthLend coins on binance exchange using the cryptocurrency Ethereum or you could say, I swapped a small amount of Ethereum worth $150 AUD for 671 EthLend coins hoping they will do well in 2018 -2019? You can see the send to address in the image below and my EthLend coins that I bought.

binance_exchange_deposits_page

Always double and triple check the address when sending any cryptocurrency and also make sure it’s to the correct coin address on the exchange. You will be doing quite a bit of copy and pasting of large address numbers, be very mindful when doing this, there are no refunds in the crypto world.
Ethereum to Ethereum (ETH)
Bitcoin to Bitcoin (BTC)

To give you an example, I joined  binance.com, as they sell ethlend (LEND) only because it’s not listed on coinspot.com.au, you can learn more about the ethlend coin on there website here https://ethlend.io Will the ethlend coin be the next big Bitcoin? Who knows, looks to me like a good idea and many others agree, I’m not braking the bank on it, only a $150 AUD risk.

The cryptocurrency ethlend is trading at $0.18 on binance, yes only 18 cents as I write this, so when I sent over $150 worth of Ethereum (ETH) I ended up with 671 or so ethlend (LEND) crypto coins in my binance.com account. Now I’m just waiting for it to go to the moon, just like Bitcoin lol, ok maybe $10+ dollars each, I do hope!

I’ve setup a more detail walkthrough here Cryptocurrency-exchange-australia

So there’s a quick overview of the types of things you will be doing, if you want to get into the crypto marketplace, just remember, you could have bought Bitcoin for $200 dollars in 2015 or $1 in 2011 and the returns % on Altcoins in 2017, where bigger than Bitcoin. It’s certainly going to be an interesting 2018.

Lots more great walkthroughs and training coming here soon, so keep in touch.

Regards
David O’Connor
